  1. Choose a board certified surgeon. Make sure this Board of Plastic Surgery is recognized by the registered Medical Association.
  2. Make sure the surgeon you chose has privileges to perform surgery at hospital or has credentials from Hospital's Credential Committee.
  3. If your surgeon choose to perform the procedure in the private venue, make sure it has the facilities accredited by the relevant Accreditation Association or Committee. In case of emergency, you can still feel calm because you know they have the qualified people and facilities in hand.

Even with all the precaution methods cosmetic surgery is surgery, all those risks do happen and they can happen to you.
