Cosmetic Surgery Is A Ladder To Success

The American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), in their recent survey on 756 women has revealed many women believe cosmetic surgery is a ladder to success.

Here are the finding as compiled by The American Society of Plastic Surgeons:
-73 percent of the respondents believe, appearance and youthful looks play a part in getting hired, getting a promotion, or getting new clients.
-80 percent believe, having cosmetic surgery can boost a person's confidence.
-13 percent say, they would consider having a cosmetic medical procedure specifically to boost confident and more competitive in the employment market.
-3 percent of the respondents reveal they've already had a cosmetic procedure to enhance their perceived value in the workplace.

The survey wrap up with a conclusion that, due to the belief that success in the workplace is based on looks, more and more women, particularly working women are opting to cosmetic surgery.

It's no doubt surgical procedures can increase the chances of getting hired, but patients need to be reminded that these are medical procedures and they must take precaution before they want to proceed. For example, if the cosmetic surgery involving scar removal, patients must seek further information before deciding to carry on with the procedures.
